Job Title: Special Needs Support Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in Southend. The successful candidate will work closely with students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and complex needs, providing individualized support to enhance engagement, interaction, and attainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in small groups or one-to-one basis to improve engagement and interaction
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to raise attainment
  • Work closely with parents to ensure consistency between school and home
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training
  • Experience working with children with SLD and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
