Job Objectives

The aim of this role is to establish a first contact physiotherapy service for all MSK presentations, complementing our current multi-disciplinary team as we seek to build on and develop the high-quality service we offer to our local population.

Key Responsibilities

PCN Physiotherapist

Salary: Band 7-8a dependent on experience

Location/Base: Abingdon Central PCN (Abingdon Surgery & Malthouse Surgery)

We seek a candidate with experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of MSK conditions, who can provide leadership and collaborate with clinicians within the network.

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills and be expected to treat each patient's data with sensitivity, have a sound understanding of diagnostic services available locally, and support the use of current best MSK practice within the practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with patients who have a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions (equivalent to band 7 or 8a)
  • Continued professional development (CPD) pertinent to clinical areas or at a specialist level of care
  • Experience in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Chronic pain
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Professional qualification to Degree level accompanied by specialist accredited training and experience which is deemed equivalent to post graduate diploma level
