Warehouse Operations Specialist

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in our EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) Space line of business, which delivers international space missions for satellites, launchers, and interplanetary vehicles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of everyone within their area of responsibility, including leading/managing risk assessments, safety protocol adherence, and ensuring relevant PPE adherence. They will also be responsible for receiving items against purchase orders using our business MRP system (Fourthshift), as well as booking in of project, stock parts, and consumables, allocating bonded material numbers ensuring 100% accuracy and traceability.

The ideal candidate will have a driving licence and proficient skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes. They will also be able to work in a multi-project environment, effectively prioritize and work to detailed scheduled plans and tight deadlines. Knowledge of handling, storage, and shipping of dangerous goods is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health & Safety of everyone within area of responsibility
  • Receive items against purchase orders using business MRP system (Fourthshift)
  • Book in of project, stock parts, and consumables, allocating bonded material numbers ensuring 100% accuracy and traceability
  • Obtain quotes and raise purchase requests for stock and consumable items
  • Control of ground support equipment – assembly, vibration, TVac plates etc.
  • Assist in the packing and dispatch of finished goods in accordance with relevant ADR guidelines for transport of dangerous goods
  • Perform annual stock counts
  • Liaise with finance as required
  • Internal support to all departments as required

Requirements:

  • Driving licence
  • Proficient skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes
  • Ability to work in a multi-project environment
