Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Underwriter to join our team at Bighornlaw. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting commercial insurance policies and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite commercial insurance policies and ensure accurate risk assessments.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and prospects to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor new and renewal revenue, client retention percentage, and overall results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. You will also need to possess a P&C and LAH license or be willing to obtain one. Proficiency in IT is essential, and experience in the insurance agency/carrier industry is a plus.

The salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including five weeks of PTO, a 401k retirement plan with matching, group health, life, and disability insurance, and continuing education opportunities.
