About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated midwife to fill this key position within our team. As a Band 6 Midwifery Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and supervision to junior staff members, while also contributing to the development of our midwifery services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting best practices and supporting their professional development.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, prioritizing patient-centered approaches.
  • To contribute to the development of midwifery services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.

Requirements

  • A registered midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar clinical or leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and guidelines.
