About the Role

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Psychotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their parents, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in regular clinical and service-related supervision to ensure high-quality care and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Master's level preclinical training in child psychotherapy or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, including assessment and treatment approaches.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
