About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systemic Family Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality systemic family therapy to adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the provision of highly specialist systemic interventions, formulation, and practice.
  • Provide line management and clinical supervision to specific members of the therapy team.
  • Deputise for the Therapies Lead in their absence.
  • Develop and maintain strong links with Systemic Family Psychotherapist colleagues within the CNWL service line.
  • Provide clinical supervision for Systemic Family Psychotherapists in CNWL's Tier 4 CAMHS pathway.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant mental health/social welfare profession.
  • Masters level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent qualification, accredited by UKCP.
  • Additional training in a specialised area of systemic practice through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent).
  • Registered with the UKCP as Systemic Psychotherapist and evidence of continuing professional development as required by the UKCP.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Training in Supervision accredited by AFT to supervise qualified Systemic and Family Psychotherapists.
  • Training in or knowledge of Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), and/or Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT).
  • Experience of delivering Multi-Family Therapy Groups for Child and Adolescent Inpatients.
  • Experience of contributing to Family Therapy and/or Child and Adolescent Inpatients research.
