Full-time/Part-time SEN Learning Support Assistant Required

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to support students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism, in an inclusive learning environment.

About the Position:

  • Support students with autism and other special educational needs in their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of students, including one-on-one and small group work.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive teaching practices and strategies.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
