We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Professional to join our team at ACADEMICS in Basildon, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who require additional support.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting.
  • As a Learning Support Professional, you will play a vital role in developing strong relationships with children, particularly those with additional learning needs.

You will be responsible for implementing tailored learning strategies, assisting with individual and small group interventions, and creating a nurturing environment for students to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, adapting your approach to meet individual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of strategies to support students with various SEN, such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.

This is a long-term contract until July 2025, with a possibility of a permanent position from September 2025. The salary for this role is £83.33 - £100 per day.
