We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 nurse to lead our critical care team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, effective individualized care to all patients, assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating them without supervision. The role also involves leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team and deputizing for the Senior Nurse when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and develop individualized care plans.
  • Lead and manage the critical care team, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC registration as a nurse.
  • A teaching qualification such as SSSA or Mentorship in Practice.
  • 60 credit critical care course completion.
  • Previous experience in critical care nursing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
