About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our End of Life Services team as a Funeral & Memorial Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional end of life care, support, and client experience through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide empathetic and personalized support to clients, guiding them through the process of arranging the funeral of their loved one, while building strong relationships and exceeding client expectations.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in every aspect of funeral arrangements, memorialisation orders, and aftercare services, liaising with internal departments and external suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, statutory legislation, internal KPIs, Funeral Director Code, and FCA regulation, ensuring the highest level of assurance for our clients.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure the correct care of the deceased and facilitate Reflection Room visits for families.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives, promoting the End-of-Life Services / Southern Co-op brand and building strong relationships with the community.
Requirements
  • IT literate and proficient in MS Office
