About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available within the NHS, working as a Band 4 Healthcare Support Worker in our cancer care department. As a Clinical Navigator, you will be responsible for supporting patients diagnosed with cancer and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists, your role will involve coordinating patient care, managing hospital systems, and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient support and advocating for their needs within the multidisciplinary team.

To succeed in this position, you will require excellent communication skills, a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of hospital computer systems. A level or BTEC/GNVQ qualification or relevant clinical experience is essential, along with good IT literacy.
