Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Innovate. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and supporting organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align HR strategies with business objectives through collaboration with leadership.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Advise managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures.
  • Deliver training to managers on employment law and HR best practice.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and succession planning.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructures.
  • Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and recommend actions.
Person Specification
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification.
  • Significant experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday HRIS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinker with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to build trust at all levels.
Benefits and Salary

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including 27 days' annual leave (pro rata), subsidised staff restaurant, dental plan, pension scheme, on-site parking, monthly pay, access to an on-site gym and local gym discounts, SMART working policy, and relocation package of up to £6,000.
