Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a partner school.

This full-time position involves providing tailored 1:1 and group support to students, assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and helping students manage their behaviour, emotions, and social skills.

The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible, and understanding, with a passion for supporting young people in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs.
  3. Help students manage their behaviour, emotions, and social skills.
  4. Support daily classroom activities to keep students engaged and progressing.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with SEN children is desirable but not required.
  2. Able to be patient, flexible, and understanding in challenging situations.
  3. A passion for supporting young people in reaching their full potential.
