We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions to students with autism, ADHD, attachment issues, and speech and language difficulties
- Working closely with the class teacher to plan lessons, prepare materials, and manage student behaviour
- Supporting students across all key stages in a vibrant special school environment
About You:
- A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people
- Previous experience working with children in the UK, whether in early years, primary, or secondary education
- Ability to adapt to changing plans at short notice and work term time only
- A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills further
