About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of food safety and allergens, ensuring that all staff are aware of best practices.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, ensuring that they meet the high standards of our brand.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and allergens, with the ability to train and educate others.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
