About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic Engineering company based in Sunbury, reporting directly to the Design Manager. As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with design/purchasing and workshop/assembly teams on design projects. Your primary focus will be on using 2D and 3D drafting software to create drawings and models of products. You will also be responsible for ensuring components and assemblies follow industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design solutions using PTC Creo Elements/Direct and Ansys FEA software.
- Maintain and update engineering records for each product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer or similar role in mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical standards and production methods including turning, milling, and grinding.
- Ability to work within a small team but with a lot of autonomy.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
