The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in prescribing medication, implementing patient teaching, and facilitating next-care linkages, referrals, and/or admissions to ensure smooth and timely transitions to appropriate levels of care/service.
Responsibilities include covering and treating behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department and providing consultative services for patients with potential/definitive co-morbid psychiatric illnesses admitted to the medical/surgical floors.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
