Chef De Partie

We are seeking an accomplished Professional Chef to join our team at the Austin Fraser Hotel & Golf Resort in Daventry, Northamptonshire. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Management: Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chefs and Exec Chef to ensure that all culinary standards are met, and the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food and operating costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to reduce waste.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and guidance to kitchen porters in the skills necessary for them to perform their duties effectively.
  • Adaptability: Be willing to work in different sections of the kitchen as required, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly and professionally to their needs and requests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and stored safely.

Requirements and Compensation:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment is desirable.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The estimated salary for this role is up to £30,000 per annum + overtime.
