About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault finding and rectifying defects in industrial equipment
  • Identifying and replacing worn or damaged components
  • Performing basic electrical testing to assess the condition of AC and DC components
  • Using mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty components and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options
  • Working with pumps, including hot oil and water pumps, and having basic hydraulic knowledge
Working Hours and Environment

As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will work a 39-hour week, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and Friday from 8am to 2pm. You will also be required to participate in a call-out rota and work on-site when required.
