About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs to industrial equipment, including fault finding and rectifying defects and worn/damaged components
  • Have a basic electrical testing capability to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components
  • Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components
  • Pump experience, including hot oil and water, and basic hydraulic knowledge
Working Hours

Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 8am to 3:30pm. We offer 39 hours per week, with 45 minutes of breaks.

About You
  • You will be flexible and able to work the hours required in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment
  • Participate in a call-out rota as required
  • Be comfortable working on site, in addition to the workshop, when required
  • Have a strong focus on health and safety
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
