About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment, including fault finding and rectifying defects
  • Have a basic electrical testing capability to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components
  • Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components
  • Participate in a call-out rota as required and work on site when necessary
  • Work in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment

  • You will be flexible and able to work the hours required in a demanding environment
  • You will have a strong mechanical engineering background and be able to work independently
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • You will be able to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the team
