Feeding the Future

Nutreco is a pioneer in animal nutrition and aquafeed, shaping a sustainable future for food production globally. As part of the SHV family, our business lines, Skretting and Trouw Nutrition, are revolutionising aquaculture and advancing livestock health and productivity with innovative solutions. This program is designed to help you develop yourself on a personal and professional level by understanding our end-to-end supply chain processes.

The Opportunity

Drive your future success in end-to-end supply chain by learning from industry experts in sustainability, procurement, quality, manufacturing, logistics, planning, and engineering. Work at the centre of it all and build your international acumen by connecting with our Business Units and Global Supply Chain Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain practical experience in supply chain excellence by working on challenging tasks and projects.
  • Develop your personal network in a collaborative environment.
  • Work on global projects and temporary international relocation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong technical academic background; Master's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.
  • Strong proficiency of business English and local language.
  • Maximum of one to two years of experience in supply chain, business administration, or manufacturing environments.

What We Offer

By choosing Nutreco, you'll help us lead the change towards global sustainable food production, equipped with the best training and mentorship and a spirit of innovation. This program is designed to foster a culture that sparks entrepreneurial mindset.

Program Details

We offer a special 18-month program, split into three six-month rotations on the job, normally in three different countries, in three different supply chain areas. You will gain industry-specific knowledge and leverage the experience of experts in our different locations and Opcos.

Local Hiring Company - Home Location

You will spend the first six months at your home location gaining on-the-job experience with a real-life job, learning about key supply chain processes, systems, respective goods and services, and dataflows. In parallel, you will also start to develop your personal network in a collaborative environment.

Plant and Opco Locations

After the first six months working from your home location, you will spend several months in some of our international plants and locations. The focus here will be on gaining additional perspectives and learning about the day-to-day operational and strategic challenges.

YPP Academy Weeks

Each rotation starts with a Skills Development Academy week focused on job-specific learning and personal development. You will also meet your fellow global Young Professionals and benefit from a wide range of trainings and events.

Step into Your Future

For application details and more, visit the Nutreco career site. To be eligible, candidates must have completed their Master's program before the traineeship and be willing to undertake regional/international assignments; embody the qualities of collaboration and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
