Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with national leadership to coordinate resources and achieve targets.
- Participate in the development of professional development plans for staff and encourage expansion of expertise on different sectors.
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs projects across the UK portfolio.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge working in the UK.
- Extensive experience working in a large multi-discipline environment.
- In-depth knowledge of common UK standards, i.e. ADB, BS9999, BS9991.
- Working knowledge of common fire engineering tools: FDS, SFS, evacuation modeling, etc.
- Member status of relevant institution, i.e MIFireE.
- BEng/ MEng/ M.Sc. in fire science, fire engineering or similar.
