Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with national leadership to coordinate resources and achieve targets.
  • Participate in the development of professional development plans for staff and encourage expansion of expertise on different sectors.
  • Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs projects across the UK portfolio.

Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge working in the UK.
  • Extensive experience working in a large multi-discipline environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of common UK standards, i.e. ADB, BS9999, BS9991.
  • Working knowledge of common fire engineering tools: FDS, SFS, evacuation modeling, etc.
  • Member status of relevant institution, i.e MIFireE.
  • BEng/ MEng/ M.Sc. in fire science, fire engineering or similar.
