Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the staff team to ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times.
- Oversee the operational management of the home, including record-keeping and personal files.
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual plans for young people, liaising with external professionals, agencies, and families.
- Contribute to team development, empowering staff to promote independence within the residential setting and wider community.
- Conduct performance reviews and supervisions with senior care team members.
- Support the care team in organizing engaging activities, trips, and extended visits for young people.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of significant management/supervisory experience in a care setting within the past 5 years.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Care Standards.
- Experience adhering to Ofsted regulations.
The salary for this position is between £60k-£80k, depending on experience.
