Becoming a Youth Residential Care Specialist with Brook Street Social Care means joining a dedicated team passionate about supporting young residents in a safe and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our young people are met. They will maintain accurate case files, assist in implementing care plans, and promote educational activities, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care, focusing on the unique needs of each young person
  • Maintain open communication channels, ensuring transparency and trust with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote education, personal growth, and social development
  • Support the daily routine, including meal preparation, medication administration, and escorting residents to appointments

Requirements:

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to young people
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Valid full driving license, essential for transporting residents

Competitive Salary: 26,500 - 29,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefits include overtime pay, generous annual leave, company pension scheme, and more.
