Child Development Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Consultant to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a Child Development Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting children with complex needs and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and adults with disabilities or impairments. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing training and support to families and caregivers.

Key Duties

As a Child Development Consultant, your key duties will include:

  1. Assessing the child's needs and developing a treatment plan to address any difficulties
  2. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  3. Providing equipment and adaptations to support the child's participation in daily activities
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a community setting
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB check (we can assist with obtaining this)
