Commercial Advisor

Wood is seeking a Commercial Advisor to join its Operations EMEA business. This role is a key part of a project team and requires a proactive, flexible, and energetic individual to develop their career with the company.
The Commercial Advisor will be responsible for maximizing commercial performance while managing business/project risk, commercializing sub-Business Group service offerings, and ensuring compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification, and experience in a similar role. They will also have good working knowledge and experience in commercial administration and procedures, as well as experience in drafting and interpretation of commercial documentation.
The Commercial Advisor will be expected to demonstrate utmost integrity, commitment to Wood and client core values, and commitment to Wood Commercial Process and Procedures. They will also have excellent communication skills, written, oral, and presentation, and be able to work as part of a team.
The role will involve embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group/Project/Portfolio of Projects, supporting the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group, and resolving disputes/claims and cash collection issues.
The Commercial Advisor will be a strong user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and will be able to prioritize key tasks and solve problems for the team.
