**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Staff Scheduler Coordinator to join our team at Optical Express. As a key hire, you will play a vital role in ensuring our professional staff are scheduled appropriately to meet business and patient demands.

About the Role

The Staff Scheduler Coordinator is responsible for maintaining our Optometrist database, ensuring full optimization of Optometrists within the region, and approving holidays in a timely manner. You will also assist with client relationship management for our Self-Employed Optometrist network and provide regular communication to the regional team to ensure optimal scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of Optometrist schedules and availability
  • Ensuring seamless integration of new Optometrists into our schedule
  • Collaborating with senior managers and healthcare providers to address scheduling challenges
  • Developing and implementing effective scheduling strategies to maximize productivity
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field (desirable)
  • Proven experience in scheduling and coordination (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
