Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our ward.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, relatives, and staff, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Support the clinical team with administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on providing high-quality patient care.
  • Update and maintain electronic patient records, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the ward team, ensuring efficient and effective communication and record-keeping.
