Job Purpose:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated regression frameworks to ensure seamless integration across multiple products, including Salesforce, Cloud-based ERP, and Product Lifecycle Management. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and mitigating the impact of regression on our business.

Working closely with managed service providers, you will help iterate on a wide-ranging regression asset across our IT portfolio, ensuring that our products remain stable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated regression test frameworks and scripts, covering UI, API, configuration, and database testing, while ensuring comprehensive coverage and scope.
  • Create and report detailed documentation summarizing test results, investigating failures to ensure accuracy when raising defects.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Centre of Excellence, Functional Test Leads, and Business Analysts to identify candidates for automated regression.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our codebase, integrations, and data interactions, reviewing tests and test plans to ensure validity and value.
  • Work with SaaS technology, partnering with automated test framework providers to ensure seamless testing coverage.
  • Develop robust strategies for Performance Testing, with a strong understanding of our architectural landscape.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Demonstrate experience in creating automated regression frameworks (Selenium, Specflow/Cucumber) with a solid understanding of valuable automated approaches.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies (e.g. BDD, TDD, ATDD) with experience in automated practices, including Unit, Integration, and cross-browser approaches.
  • Knowledge of CICD / Azure DevOps / Automated Pipeline tools and practices.
  • Understanding of Agile / SCRUM Methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in testing ERP applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, working with developers, Business Analysts, and other IT Leads.
