About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supermarket Shift Leader to join our team at Haven. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the retail team to ensure all areas of responsibility are met, including providing an outstanding retail experience, ensuring service quality and consistency.
  • Escalate issues to the Supermarket Team Manager as required, and work collaboratively to resolve any problems that may arise.
  • Induct and support new starters through a comprehensive 90-day induction program, and ensure they complete all necessary departmental training.
  • Deliver a hands-on approach to supermarket duties, including greeting customers and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Work with the team to promote Health and Safety, and ensure that all procedures are followed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a retail environment.
  • Previous experience working as a shift leader.
  • Ability to lead and coach a team.
