Shift Supervisor

At Nexus Careers Group Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of engineers during shifts, providing guidance and ensuring effective task delegation.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of engineers during shifts, providing guidance and ensuring effective task delegation.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the performance of critical systems, including power distribution, cooling, and fire suppression systems, to ensure optimal uptime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance tasks and emergency repairs on all facility systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Incident Response: Act as the primary point of contact during incidents, leading the response to equipment failures and system outages, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Operations Manager.
- Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training for team members to enhance their technical skills and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the team, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical role.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data centre or critical environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data centre operations, critical systems, and maintenance procedures.
