Early Years Practitioner Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Cambridge. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and educational outcomes of young children.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality childcare services. The successful candidate will have a level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare, CACHE, EYE, or a recognised equivalent, and at least 6 months of experience in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support and extend children's learning, development, and educational outcomes through play-based activities and educational programmes.
  2. Organise and oversee the planning, implementation, and provision of activities, including arts and crafts, music, and physical education.
  3. Carry out regular observations and evaluations to assess children's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Plan and provide next steps to support children's development, including setting goals and objectives.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare.
  • An understanding of the EYFS framework and key worker systems.
  • An understanding of planning, observing, and record-keeping procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £12,500 - £15,000 per annum, plus a range of employee benefits, including free DBS checks and renewal, and a generous holiday allowance.
