About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Support Assistant to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our Domestic Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic support services to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to NHS Lanarkshire's cleaning standards and procedures.
- Undertake on-the-job training and induction to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
- Participate in risk assessing individual tasks and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Complete NHS Lanarkshire's compulsory training and adhere to Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards.
- Work effectively with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals.
- Carry out assigned tasks efficiently and effectively in a busy environment.
- Utilize basic information technology to support daily tasks.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic information technology skills.
Contract and Working Pattern
This is a part-time position, working 19.8 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary will be pro-rata.
