We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer and Senior Structural Engineers to join our client, a leading structural engineering consultancy based in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects throughout the UK and worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Engage with clients to define project requirements and influence project outcomes
  • Develop protective design strategies with project design teams
  • Deliver retained and novated design duties for design and build projects
  • Support contractors to ensure construction works comply with project specifications
  • Work with manufacturers to design and develop new products
  • Manage project workloads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Undertake and supervise detailed structural calculations using linear and non-linear methods
  • Complete vehicle dynamics assessments for hostile vehicle mitigation
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant civil or structural engineering degree or a background in applied physics
  • Chartered engineer status (MICE or MISTructE) or experience capable of passing the chartered professional review
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with clients and project professionals
  • A sound understanding of steel and concrete design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to undergo security vetting at SC level
