Are you a skilled structural engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are currently seeking a Principal Structural Engineer and Senior Structural Engineers to join our client, a leading structural engineering consultancy based in Cheshire, UK.

**Job Description:**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects throughout the UK and worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with clients to define project requirements and influence project outcomes
  • Developing protective design strategies with project design teams
  • Delivering retained and novated design duties for design and build projects
  • Supporting contractors to ensure construction works comply with project specifications
  • Working with manufacturers to design and develop new products
  • Managing project workloads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Undertaking and supervising detailed structural calculations using linear and non-linear methods
  • Completing vehicle dynamics assessments for hostile vehicle mitigation
  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant civil or structural engineering degree or a background in applied physics
  • Chartered engineer status (MICE or MISTructE) or experience capable of passing the chartered professional review
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with clients and project professionals
  • A sound understanding of steel and concrete design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to undergo security vetting at SC level

**Estimated Salary Range:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
