Role Highlights
- Full-time permanent teaching role in a nurturing student-centered SEN school that prioritizes the unique learning needs and potential of each child.
- Create and deliver customized lesson plans that are designed to support the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of mixed-age KS1 and KS2 learners, ensuring each student's individual goals and abilities are respected.
- Collaborate with experienced SEN professionals and support staff, including teaching assistants and specialists, to deliver consistent and comprehensive support that promotes students' holistic development.
- Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, understood, and encouraged to actively participate, helping them build essential skills and confidence.
- Engage in ongoing assessment and monitoring of student progress using insights from both formal and informal assessments to adapt teaching strategies as needed for optimal growth and learning.
- Participate in school-led SEN training and professional development, enhancing your expertise in SEN teaching and keeping up-to-date with best practices and innovative approaches in inclusive education.
