About the Role:
CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all temporary accommodation owned and managed properties are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues, ensuring that all properties are safe and habitable for residents.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure that all properties meet statutory and regulatory requirements, including HHSRS and other relevant legislation.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and contractors on maintenance and repair issues, including damp and mould diagnosis and specification of remedial works.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate maintenance projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors to ensure that maintenance issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A recognized building-related qualification to a minimum of HND/HNC level and qualified in HHSRS.
- Experience: Proven track record in maintenance and repair, with experience in diagnosing causes of damp and mould and specifying remedial works.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of domestic building technology, with the ability to use this to identify problems and their causes and develop innovative solutions in a cost-efficient and effective manner.
- Personal Qualities: Determined to provide a high-quality service, with a strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors.
