We are seeking an experienced and skilled Employability Trainer to join our team at Oaklands College. As an Employability Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of employability programmes to meet the needs of learners, employers, and stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to help learners develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver employability programmes that meet the needs of learners, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching sessions that incorporate effective learning strategies and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner data, initial assessment records, enrolment, daily registers, and outcomes.
  • Prepare learners for employment, career progression, or further study by contextualising digital, maths, and English skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of employability programmes.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English and maths (GCSE, Functional Skills, or equivalent).
  • Assessor and IQA qualifications.
  • Level 3 teaching qualification.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
