We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our Emergency Department team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious individual to further their career within Emergency Care, while contributing to the success of our Transformation Unit.

Main Responsibilities
">
  • Rotate in all areas of the ED with confidence, leveraging your extensive experience in acute emergency and minor injuries/illnesses.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting excellence in Emergency Care, and supporting other managers in department management.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve patient experiences, showcasing your exceptional communication skills and adaptability.
  • Provide high-quality care to diverse patients, embracing new opportunities and expanding your role as the service evolves.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to ED nursing, driving continuous improvement and delivering results-oriented outcomes.
Key Qualifications
">
  • 2+ years of experience as a Band 6 or above in ED.
  • UK NMC registration as a Nurse, along with ALS, ATNC, and relevant leadership certifications.
  • Experience managing and appraising teams, with a proven track record of success in ED management.
