We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apheresis CNS to join our dynamic team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our Lipid CNS nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake apheresis procedures within the Lipid Unit at University Hospital Llandough
- Work alongside the band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to deliver care for patients in a weekday day care setting
- Participate in nurse-led clinics, assessing and counselling patients prior to treatment
- Contribute to the development of standards of practice and quality improvement initiatives
- Relevant post-registration experience in the specialty
- Evidence of managerial ability and experience
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and lipid conditions
- Experience of teaching and assessing in the clinical area
