Senior Construction Director

About the Role:

Chester Inc. is a leading Design – Build firm specializing in commercial, industrial, municipal, and religious projects ranging from $150,000 to $10,000,000. As a Senior Construction Director, you will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables meet project scope and budget requirements. This role involves serving as the primary contact with owners, fostering positive relationships, and overseeing medium to large-sized projects from conception to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the client and sales team to understand project scope and vision.
  • Oversee turn-key project initiation, including permit submission and design evaluations.
  • Create project schedules and match talent to the job.
  • Work closely with architects, clients, and construction crews.
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for schedule, safety, and quality control.
  • Prepare and submit project estimates to clients.
  • Identify, track, prioritize, and resolve issues in the field.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Construction Project Manager – OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple commercial/industrial projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Procore.
  • Expert knowledge of all construction market conditions and legalities.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
