Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Advice: Provide guidance on day-to-day health and safety issues, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practices.
- Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct thorough site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Document Review and Preparation: Review and prepare health and safety documentation, including policies, risk assessments, and procedures.
- Project Support: Assist with projects that have health and safety implications, such as relocations, investments in new equipment, and changes in practices.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to educate clients on health and safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise: Thorough knowledge of UK health and safety law and relevant regulations.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent, and relevant academic background.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a qualified health and safety advisory role.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work within a team environment.
- Time Management: Efficient management of workload to meet deadlines.
- Proactivity: Proactive in identifying sales and consultancy opportunities.
