About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Crookhey Hall School, part of Acorn Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. You will work closely with our experienced teams to provide individualized support and guidance, helping our pupils to develop their academic and vocational skills, and promoting their personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with complex SEMH needs in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors
  • Preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Providing emotional and physical support to pupils, helping them to develop as individuals and engage with the world
  • Working collaboratively with our experienced teams to provide individualized support and guidance
