We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Relief Support Worker in our Morecambe service. Our service provides person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities who live in supported housing.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with a range of activities, including going to the gym, beach, and on days out. You will also have the chance to act as a Key Worker, supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and medication administration to service users
  • Developing and sustaining warm relationships with service users
  • Supporting individuals to access their community, including going to the pub, gym, and on days out
  • Carrying out general administrative duties and supporting with domestic tasks

Requirements:

A minimum of twelve months experience of working with people who have a learning disability is essential for this role. You should be able to demonstrate a 'can-do approach', person-centred values, compassion, and commitment. You will be reliable and dependable, as consistency allows our service users to feel safe.
