Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, reconciliation, and other administrative duties. You will also assist with the preparation of management accounts and oversee the purchase ledger. Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including ownership of specified control account reconciliations.
  • Oversee the purchase ledger, maintaining purchase workflow from ordering to invoicing to approval, processing, general ledger entry, and payment.
  • Support the business treasury function, monitoring and posting of detailed bank transactions on a day-to-day basis, assisting with wider cashflow strategy and placement of funds in deposit accounts.
  • Raise various sales invoices and reconcile fees taken in Curo, our business CRM system.

Requirements
  • AAT Level 3 or above, or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent accountancy qualification level.
  • Experience in working in a financial function with knowledge of accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
  • Prior experience of supporting with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work from the Whiteley office for a minimum of 2 days per week.

Salary Range:

£32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
