Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join our team in Fareham. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for producing financial statements, supporting audit and board sign-off of financial statements, and maintaining tax compliance and reporting.

  • Produce financial statements and manage the accounting process.
  • Be the main point of contact for audit queries and ensure timely responses.
  • Support audit and board sign-off of financial statements, providing accurate and reliable information.
  • Provide accounting reminders as deadlines approach, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Support business transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Produce and submit board packs, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and analysis.
  • Maintain tax compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar.
  • Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
  • Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context.
