Job Title: Purchase Ledger Administrator

Job Summary:

Tirebuck Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, reconciling delivery notes, and providing accurate and timely support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of invoices every month, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile delivery notes to invoices received and orders for various departments.
  • Release invoices in preparation for payment, ensuring compliance with VAT rules and regulations.
  • Proactively manage and resolve supplier queries, communicating with relevant departments and suppliers as needed.
  • Collate correct paperwork and ensure it meets VAT rules and regulations.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details, ensuring up-to-date information.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance team to ensure all accounts are up to date and accurate, meeting monthly deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role, with a strong understanding of financial procedures.
  • Experience working with high volumes of invoices per month, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong data input skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent administration skills, with a focus on customer service and communication.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High standard of English, including spelling and grammar.
  • Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
