Family Law Solicitor or FCILEX

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solicitor or FCILEX to join our Family Law Team at Simpson Judge.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in conducting their own caseload in family law cases, including divorce, financial remedy disputes, civil partnership disputes, and private law children disputes. Prior experience in this area is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and a proven track record of running their own caseload.

Advocacy experience is also required, and the ability to assist with the firm's Legal Surgery sessions, new enquiries rota, and external advice sessions is essential. Experience of legal aid work and the CCMS portal is preferred.

The role offers good prospects of career progression for the right candidate, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 25 days' holiday per annum, bank holidays, loyalty holiday scheme, and contributory pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting own caseload in family law cases
